Jason's Echo

I'd like to introduce you to Michael, otherwise known as Jason's echo.
The words flow freely these days, but, right now, I really can't give him credit for coming up with them on his own.

Some of Jason's phrases sound so grown up, especially when repeated constantly by his brother, Michael.

"I want that."
"Me, too."
"Jason did it."

I'd say those are in the consistent top three.

Of course, Jason is not to be outdone.
His new phrases are of the not-so-pleasant variety, no doubt thanks to his new daycare center.

The other day he came home and said, "Don't make me kick for your butt!"

Then, when I called him on it, he told me, "I was talking to myself."

So smart.

And it continues. Today, he started telling his brother to "shut up." On further examination, he told me he was telling himself to "shut up."

We do enjoy watching Jason grow up into a little man, but I think we're going to have to work on his vocabulary a little bit. Otherwise, I fear the next few years will be no day at the beach for us!!

Playing in the Dirt

We had the chance to meet up with Grace recently. She's gotten so big, and so mature! She built a fort and put pine needles inside. A major mission. Our boys just followed her around. And listened intently.
