"Michael is Boy"

Michael is learning about gender.

While most times, "Michael is Boy," Jason is more often than not a "girrrl."
Mommy is also more often than not, a "Boyyy."

Jason sometimes gets upset with the mis-classification. I can't convince him not to take it personally. But, on this day, when this picture was taken, there was nothing that could make him frown. Grandma and Grandpa paid a visit, and the boys had a great time. Thanks to Grandpa for these great photos.

Michael's words continue to make us laugh.
He'll look at something Jason is doing, and just say, "That's awesome, Jason." And, he's as clear as he can be. Of course, he sounds a bit like a caveman, but, he is quite understandable (to me!)

Jason, meanwhile, continues to amaze us. Yesterday, he asked if he could learn how to play chess(t). That's right, chest. But, we set up the board, I started to explain the rules. And, I think, he's starting to get it. I'll let you know when we'll have to start working to beat him.

"To Infinity and Beyond"

There is much to share, and I'm so sorry I have been lax about putting down some of the boys' pretty amusing moments. This new schedule is great for together time with Jason and Michael. It's just more difficult to get anything house-related done. As a matter of fact, they're awfully quiet in the bath right now....

Anyway, I just hope I'll be able to remember the ones of the past days. In the meantime, here's the most recent.

Meet Buzz.
You remember him from Toy Story (Thanks to Grandma for giving us a copy of the movie).
Well, Jason has just discovered the wonder of this little spaceman.
We just returned from a visit with Uncle Tim, and this one purchase has made Uncle Tim the best gift-buyer EVER.

"To Infinity and Beyond"

Jason sleeps with Buzz, eats next to Buzz, puts Buzz by the sink when the potty is in use. In fact, here Jason is showing you how Buzz uses his (b)laser. That's right, his blaser. Can you see the red light?

Michael got a gift that was pretty popular, too. It's a Curious George stuffed animal with an oversized head. Yes, it's a bizarre combo, but he's the cutest little thing. He's not in the picture, because we can't find him just yet. Michael hid him somewhere. I think it's safe to say, we love him, but not as much as Buzz.

A Day at the Park

We had a wonderful time with Grandma and Grandpa, as you can see. A day at the park is always nice, but, this day was even nicer.

Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for their picture-taking expertise. The photos below are courtesy of Grandpa. We love them!!

Soccer on Saturdays

Our Saturday mornings are once again filled with the sounds of cheering parents and the sight of wayward toddlers. Soccer games are back. Jason has returned for Season 2. If you'll remember from Season 1, there wasn't much action on Jason's part. He used to hang out in the vicinity of the game, but didn't really take part. But, this year will be different. We can already tell! He's running after the ball, not kicking it, yet...But there are two months of games to get through! His t-shirt is too big for him, but he was determined to wear the #10, as in Ben 10, a character on Nickelodeon. He's 4!!!! and so stubborn already. Wonder where he gets that from.
