"Michael is Boy"

Michael is learning about gender.

While most times, "Michael is Boy," Jason is more often than not a "girrrl."
Mommy is also more often than not, a "Boyyy."

Jason sometimes gets upset with the mis-classification. I can't convince him not to take it personally. But, on this day, when this picture was taken, there was nothing that could make him frown. Grandma and Grandpa paid a visit, and the boys had a great time. Thanks to Grandpa for these great photos.

Michael's words continue to make us laugh.
He'll look at something Jason is doing, and just say, "That's awesome, Jason." And, he's as clear as he can be. Of course, he sounds a bit like a caveman, but, he is quite understandable (to me!)

Jason, meanwhile, continues to amaze us. Yesterday, he asked if he could learn how to play chess(t). That's right, chest. But, we set up the board, I started to explain the rules. And, I think, he's starting to get it. I'll let you know when we'll have to start working to beat him.
