A Day at the Beach

Our weekends are definitely getting more exciting. The boys and I went to the beach a few weeks ago. I know, I'm a lot behind.

The day we chose to go was absolutely perfect. Sunshine and in the '70's.

Of course, Michael didn't agree when we first got there.

He refused to step foot on the sand.

But, then, we agreed to let him bury Jason.



Once Jason got cleaned up, he made a beeline for the water. But, not to get in the water, just to get sorta near it.




Aside from the first traumatic sand experience, Michael really warmed up to the beach.
Now, everytime he sees the SUN, he wants to take a road trip.
Aaah, don't we all?



We're really packing in the adventures, too. Later that day, we brought the kids home and let them run around in the sprinklers.

We know Jason had a good time.
Doug asked him, "That was fun, wasn't it?"
He replied, "No, Daddy, that was SUPER fun."
